After playing way too much games through high school and college, Jun finally got to realize his dream working in the game industry. He was part of several teams at EA, including EA Sports Online and Origin. He then went on to join LucasArts to work on the Star Wars franchise. Before co-founding AccelByte, Jun spent 3.5 years at Epic Games building and leading the team that is responsible for Epic Games' online infrastructure for distributing and operating all of Epic's games (Infinity Blade, Fortnite, Paragon, and Unreal Tournament) and Epic's Unreal Engine.
In the days of BBSs Cove often enjoyed the challenge of removing copy protection from games more than playing them. However some of his favorite games from that era were made by Lucasfilm, where he later worked for 6 years improving the backend systems for ILM and LucasArts, as well as Epic Games where he was employee #1337 and helped found the online division and ran online operations.
